Join the Piedmont Neighborhood Association Board at the monthly board meeting. A representative of Portland Public Schools will be on hand to discuss the status of the Applegate school and a representative of the Portland Bureau of Transportation will be on hand to discuss the upcoming repaving and re-striping of Rosa Parks Way. The Piedmont Neighborhood Association Board will hold its monthly board meeting this Wednesday, January 17th, at 7pm in the Penninsula Park Community Center. All are welcome to meet the board and discuss issues with the board. The agenda for the meeting is available here.
The PNA Board has created three ad hoc committees at its 11/15/2017 general meeting.
- Bylaws Committee (firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Membership & Communications Committee (email@example.com)
- Local Houselessness Issues Committee (firstname.lastname@example.org)
All residents of Piedmont are encouraged to participate in these committees. There are basically two levels of participation. The first is to actually come to committee meetings, the second is to subscribe to the committee mailing lists. You can subscribe in two ways. The first is to login to your google account, then go to groups.google.com, search for the group you want to join, and click the “join this group” or “contact the owner” button. The second is to send an email to email@example.com and indicate you want to join. Once you have joined you can post to the list by using the email address of the group. Meetings of the committees will be announced on the mailing lists.
On Wednesday, Nov. 15th the Piedmont Neighborhood Association Board held it’s monthly board meeting. Among other things, the board selected board members to fill various board positions for the next year. The full meeting minutes are available.
