Hello Piedmont Neighborhood Association Members and Friends!
Led by the Arbor Lodge Tree Team, please join your Piedmont friends and neighbors in a guided Tree Walk in Farragut Park on Sunday, Sept 7th from 10a-12p where you’ll learn about tree ecology, tree identification and more! Meet us at the newly refurbished Farragut Park playground, near the intersection of N Kerby and Farragut.
This leisurely and informative walk will explore a grove of Douglas Fir, a collection of Maples and Oaks, plus a border of Ash, Dawn Redwood and Cedar. You’ll learn the many benefits of tree groves, the habitat options of each of the featured trees and much more!
