Greetings from your Piedmont Neighborhood Association!
April was a busy month. Thank you to the volunteers who helped with our annual clean-up of the Bryant Street Bridge access—especially Brian Borello, who for years has coordinated PNA’s stewardship efforts of this vital transportation pathway across I-5. And thanks to the many PNA members who helped make the Piedmont Neighborhood Plant Sale a success!
Don’t miss the Piedmont Neighborhood Yard Sales this coming Saturday, May 18, 9a-3p. Numerous homes in Piedmont are holding Yard Sales to sell such items as: clothing, collectibles, appliances, furniture, jewelry, and much more! The list of participating addresses will be finalized by Wednesday and then provided at our Thursday meeting.
Be sure to attend our monthly General Meeting this Thursday from 7p–9p at our regular location, Peninsula Park Community Center in the Fireside Room (700 N Rosa Parks Way) or remotely using Zoom. The meeting’s Agenda and Zoom link will be emailed a day prior to the meeting and will be posted on our website at piedmontneighborhood.com.
In the meeting, we’ll provide updates on many items, such as:
- Saving Rosemont Court
- Addresses of the Piedmont Neighborhood Yard Sales
- Rosa Parks Memorial sign toppers
- Startup effort to revise outdated PNA Bylaws
- City Charter Changes
