The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, and public comment is welcome. The primary focus of the January 19 meeting is the natural resources element of the City of Portland Land Use Plan. This includes a review of the City’s natural resource inventory for the area, a weighing of the impacts of protecting natural resources, and a discussion of implementation options.

A secondary focus of the meeting is to review and approve a scope of work for a group created to explore aircraft noise issues outside the federally recognized noise standard.
